Their responsibilities will include the automation of tests and the estimation, planning and coordination of test activities. Ensure that quality problems and defects are identified, documented, tracked and properly resolved in the defect tracking system.
Analyze the product and identify the best automation approach for the platform.
Be able to develop automated tests in Java using Selenium, using IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
Perform validations to automated tests of REST APIs, DB, Splunk, email and other sources.
Possess the testing and automation approach for your team, including framework improvements.
Implement services in various environments using Kubernetes, and deployment tools such as Spinnaker, Jenkins.
Monitor applications using Splunk, AppDynamics.
Analyze user stories and successfully identify test scenarios relevant to the business.
Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test activities.
Help make the team grow by participating in recruitment activities.
Help developers with unit tests: what to cover, what to avoid and how to test the components effectively.
Identify the possibilities of code refactoring to make the product more suitable for automation, for example, assigning unique identifiers to elements in a web page.
Be able to contribute to the process of continuous integration, including the maintenance of Kubernetes environments and service configurations.
Create automation jobs using Jenkins DSL, track the results of Coverage codes.
Improve the efficiency of existing test infrastructure using Docker Selenium ·
Design performance test suites for microservices, using tools such as Gatling.
